VPam 007 consists of several split levelled and open-planned structures with dramatic high thatched ceilings, louvered plantation shutters, ivory-coloured paras-stone walls and terracotta floors. The wall less main living pavilion features two huge bamboo sofas that rest either side of a large Buddha head, giving the spacious area it s tranquil ambience. The floor is semi-enclosed by several lotus ponds with waterfalls flowing from a detached slate-wall - which spans the length of the pavilion. The view from this setting looks down over a stone courtyard with an 18-meter infinity-edge swimming pool and a backdrop vista of tiered rice fields - beyond a green-belt of tropical palms. The lengthy courtyard features 4 poolside sun-loungers and a traditional sun-sheltering balé at its far edge. At the shallow end of the swimming pool is a submerged stone plinth with a floating fire-dish - that lights up at sunset.
Two large bedroom suites on separate levels are accessed via a set of terracotta stairs and white stone steps across a cascading lotus pond at the far edge of the living pavilion. The upper suite includes a spacious en-suite bathroom, thatched ceiling and an open-air balcony with 2 antique Belvedere loungers. Directly below is a second suite of equal size with en-suite bathroom, al fresco shower and private courtyard. Both suites have walk-through dressing rooms, independent satellite televisions and are fully air-conditioned.
From the main foyer is access to a spacious dining wing. It features its own high thatched ceiling, a long wooden dining setting - seating 10 in comfort - and more sunset views over the courtyard and pool. An adjoining fully equipped European-style kitchen can cater to dinner parties up to 12 people and includes a comprehensive East meets West menu. A third air-conditioned bedroom with an indoor/outdoor en-suite bathroom is accessed through a large lattice-wood sliding door on the base wall of the dining pavilion.
Other aspects and facilities include lush tropical gardens bounded by a tranquil stream, water fountains with Koifish lotus ponds and parking for 3 cars.
